Από 1η Μαρτίου, θα μπορούν οι ασφαλισμένοι να ανανεώνουν μέσω ίντερνετ την ασφαλιστική ικανότητα και τα βιβλιάρια ασθενείας.

Σύμφωνα με ανακοίνωση του ΙΚΑ, με την ηλεκτρονική αυτή διαδικασία διασφαλίζεται η ενημέρωση σε πραγματικό χρόνο του «Εθνικού Μητρώου Δικαιούχων Περίθαλψης» και η παροχή υπηρεσιών από τους παρόχους υγείας (συμβεβλημένα νοσοκομεία, κλινικές, διαγνωστικά κέντρα, ιατροί, κλπ) για την εξυπηρέτηση των ασφαλισμένων και συνταξιούχων και για τα προστατευόμενα μέλη τους (συζύγους και τέκνα).

Ειδικά, για τους ασφαλισμένους του τ. ΟΠΑΔ/ΤΥΔΚΥ από τη Δευτέρα 16 Φεβρουαρίου θα λειτουργεί νέα ηλεκτρονική υπηρεσία, προκειμένου να ενημερώνονται για τον αριθμό μητρώου ασφαλισμένου (ΑΜΑ) που τους αποδόθηκε αυτόματα κατά την ενσωμάτωσή τους στο Μητρώο Ασφαλισμένων του ΙΚΑ, χωρίς να χρειάζεται να απευθύνονται στα υποκαταστήματα.
